Surge Arrestor for Mikrotik Wireless Radio of Part One

Here, I will share information with you about way of making Surge Arrestor that devices Mikrotik Wireless Radio becomes more safely from pouncing movement of thunder. How to of making it, please see below :

Material that need to be drawn up is :

1. Surge Protector Box
2. APC Surge Protector PNET1
   
3. 2 of measure copper plate 2 cm x 6 cm, thickness of 2 mm
4. 2 of measure bolt 2 cm, thickness of 5 mm along with 4 of integer ring, 2 of spring ring and 2 of nut (Stainless Steel)
5. 2 of measure bolt 1 cm, thickness of 5 mm along with 2 of spring ring (Stainless Steel). See Picture 1.

Step by Step of Making Surge Arrestor :

Step 1 : Making Holes
Making 4 holes with distance, position and the same measure in to 2 of copper plate as well as in covering box surge protector. See Picture 2.

Step 2 : Position Of Copper Plate
After made to holes in to 2 of plate and covers box surge protector, hence plate will be glued to 2 side from covering box protector, that is inner exterior side and side of covering box surge protector. See Picture 2.1 and Picture 2.2.

Remark :
Before to 2 of copper plate attributes to bolt, copper plate must in emery beforehand to take care of connection between to 2 of copper plate later becomes is better.


Step 3 : Installation of Copper Plate
Pastes up to 2 copper plate in inner exterior side and side by using bolt , nut and ring which had been drawn up the. See Picture 3.1, Picture 3.2, Picture 3.3 and Picture 3.4.

Remark :
a) Installation sequence of Bolt :

1. For fairish bolt of 2 cm is : bolt, spring ring, integer ring, front side copper plate, covers box surge protector, side copper plate in, last and circular ring is nut. Direction of Installation of bolt is both its the bolt heads resides in exterior copper plate.
2. For fairish bolt of 1 cm is : bolt, spring ring, front side copper plate, covers box surge protector and last is side copper plate in. Direction installation of bolt is one of its the bolt head bolt resided in exterior side copper plate and the other one again resides in interior side copper plate.

b) Position of bolt :

1. For fairish bolt of 2 cm that is : resides in most right and left side from copper plate.
2. For fairish bolt of 1 cm that is : resides in midst between fairish bolts of 2 cm.

Step 4 : Installation of APC Surge Protector
Connects cable grounding from APC surge protector to one of interior copper plate pole. See Picture 4.1 and Picture 4.2.

Step 5 : Radio Cable Laying and Switch
Enters data cable from Radio (Grey) and Switch (Blue). See Picture 5.1, Picture 5.2 and Picture 5.3.

Remark :

• Data cable input rubber closure Radio and Switch is opened only equal to from level of cable coming into surge protector box.
• Position of data cable input Radio and Switch must from under from position of installation in antenna; pattern, this meant that water cannot enter surge protector box.
• Connector RJ45 from data cable Radio and Switch is attached after the cable is enterred beforehand into surge protector box, this meant that unopen cover conclusion rubber hole bigger than cable measure coming into surge protector box.

Step 6 : Cable Laying Grounding from Bus Bar to Surge Box Arrestor
After all attached truly in box surge arrestor, hence last step that need to be done is connect pole grounding from bar bus which has in determining to one of the grounding pole in copper plate yg at exterior side of box arrestor. See Picture 6.
